Nurse
Health Services at Meeteetse School
At Meeteetse School, we believe that a healthy student is a successful learner. Our health services are here to support the physical, emotional, and overall well-being of every child in our care. We are proud to have Nurse Ashlea leading this important work. Her calm and caring approach helps students feel comfortable and supported when they are not feeling their best.
Nurse Ashlea provides daily health services for students, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments as needed. She works closely with families, teachers, and healthcare providers to make sure each student receives the care and attention they need to stay healthy and ready to learn. Parents are asked to sign annual health and medication waivers so that Nurse Ashlea can provide care and administer any necessary treatments during the school day.
Each year, Meeteetse School also hosts a Health Fair for students. During this event, local physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals volunteer their time to conduct simple screenings such as vision checks, dental exams, and general wellness assessments. The Health Fair not only provides valuable services but also helps families connect with local health resources in our community.
We also require written consent to perform all non-emergency care and follow the Wyoming Department of Health Immunization requirements. Documents are available below.
